RN Clinical Director
NOW HIRING for the newly-created position of RN Clinical Director at Care IV Home Health’s Northwest Arkansas branch! Our Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Director will guide us through the Medicare accreditation process and then oversee the clinical services and field staff at our recently Medicare Certified home health branch! Care IV Home Health Fayetteville covers Benton, Carroll, Washington and Madison County. This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse with excellent leadership skills, a positive proactive personality, and strong clinical nursing skills to excel within our organization.
Note: This role will oversee our skilled home health services. Separate management will be responsible for overseeing private duty services.
FT, salaried position offering excellent benefits and a lucrative company-sponsored retirement plan. Our RN Clinical Director spends approximately 60% of their time in the field supervising their clinical staff and 40% of their time working in the office. Position reports to our Director of Clinical Operations. Salary depends on experience.
Duties include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Oversee & execute the Medicare accreditation process for the branch
- Orient new field staff
- Supervisory visits, OASIS walk & other best practices training in the field
- Monitor OASIS & skills competency of staff
- Conducting weekly case conferences
- Attending continuous education, training and leadership meetings
- Tracking, trending and reporting of clinical data
- Actively participating in and promoting the growth of the branch
- Other duties as assigned
Required skills and experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license that is active and in good standing with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing
- Excellent leadership skills with experience guiding, motivating, and directly managing a home health skilled team (2+ years minimum)
- Experience and strong working knowledge of OASIS assessments, Medicare rules/regs, and home health nursing required
- Strong clinical nursing skills and the ability to lead & orient an interdisciplinary home care team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Social Workers, OT/ST/PT, etc.)
- Proficient with computers, able to learn specialized software, and comfortable using smart technology (iPads, iPhones, etc.)
